Welcome. Early in 2022, I signed a lease on a small retail space at 81 Clark Street in the heart of the West End of Portland Maine. After months of design and construction and repairs, the bakery- meant to evoke the romanticism of a 1930’s French bakery- is finally open. This micro-boulangerie is designed to be an efficient bakery that produces a limited array of delicious, rustic breads + pastry, provides work for a few dedicated bakers and offers a warm and intimate hub for the neighborhood. The space is open so that you can see and smell and hear the sounds of baking. In addition, we mill in-house all of our whole-grain flour from wheat + rye grown in Aroostic County in Maine, so that you can enjoy the full and fresh flavor of these wonderful grains. HOURS: 9AM TO 5PM WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY In order to provide you with the freshest and often still warm bread + pastry, we bake throughout the day.
